Genesis
Introduction of the book
This book is written about how the world was created and who created (it).
How were the things visible to our eyes created - sky, earth and things above the sky - sun, moon, stars?
Like that how were the living things on earth - domestic animals, creeping-crawling creatures, birds, and wild animals - created?
Likewise how were the fish in the water created?
Finally, how were human beings - meaning men and women - born?
In this way a night and a day is one day, seven days in a week, twelve months in a year, three seasons in a year - meaning summer season, rainy season and winter season - how were these created?
What kinds of comforts did God prepare and put on earth for men?
In which way did man slide away from God's way?
How did sin come into this world?
Sin having increased in the earth, how did God destroy the world in anger?
And how did the all living creatures multiply on the earth?
How much God is loving mankind!
What he did to remove their spot of sin in order to bring mankind back again to his presence.
All these are written in this book.
If you say you want to know [the answers] about these questions, read this whole book diligently from the beginning to the end.
