Satan’s 1000 year imprisonment
20
📚✭And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key to the Abyss✭ and a great chain in his hand. 2 📚And he seized the dragon✭, that old serpent, who is the Devil, that is, Satan✭, and bound him✭ for a thousand years✭, 3 📚and threw him into the Abyss and locked him up and put a seal✭ on him, so that he could no longer deceive the nations until✭ the thousand years were finished. And after that he must be let loose for a little while✭.The 1000 year reign of Christ and His people
4 📚And I saw thrones✭ and those who were sitting on them. Authority to mete out judgment✭ was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded✭ for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast✭ or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or in their hands. And they lived again✭ and reigned with Christ✭ a thousand years✭. 5 📚✭But the rest of the dead✭ did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 📚✭Blessed and holy is he who will have a part in the first resurrection. On such people the second death✭ has no power, but they will be priests✭ of God and of Christ and will reign with him✭ a thousand years.
Satan’s release, its result
7 📚And when the thousand years have ended, Satan will be let loose✭ from his prison, 8 📚and will go out to deceive✭ the nations that are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog✭, to gather them together for battle. The number of them is like the sand of the sea. 9 📚And they proceeded across earth’s wide expanse✭ and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city✭. Then fire came down from God out of heaven✭ and consumed them. 10 📚And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are, and they✭ will be tormented day and night forever and ever✭.
The judgment at the great white throne
11 📚✭And I saw a great white throne and him who was sitting on it✭. From his face earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them✭. 12 📚And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life✭. And the dead✭ were judged✭ by the things written in the books✭, according to their works. 13 📚And the sea✭ gave up the dead who were in it, and death✭ and Hades✭ gave up the dead who were in them, and each one of them was judged according to his deeds. 14 📚✭And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death✭. 15 📚✭And whoever was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
