A song, a psalm of David
108
πŸ“šβœO God, my heart is steadfast.
I will sing and give praise,
even with my glory.
2 πŸ“šAwake, lyre and harp.
I myself will awaken early.
3 πŸ“šI will praise you, O LORD,
among the peoples,
and I will sing praises
to you among
the nations.
4 πŸ“šFor your mercy is great,
higher than the heavens;
and your truth reaches
to the clouds.
5 πŸ“šBe exalted, O God, above the heavens,
and your glory above all the earth,
6 πŸ“šThat your loved one may be delivered.
Give salvation with
your right hand,
and answer me.
7 πŸ“šGod has spoken in his holiness:
β€œI will rejoice;
I will divide Shechem, and measure
out the valley of Succoth.
8 πŸ“šGilead is mine;
Manasseh is mine;
and Ephraim is the helmet
for my head.
Judah is my lawgiver.
9 πŸ“šMoab is my wash pot.
Over Edom I will throw my sandal.
Over Philistia I will triumph”.
10 πŸ“šWho will bring me into the
strong city?
Who will lead me into Edom?
11 πŸ“šWill not you,
O God, who rejected us?
And will not you, O God, go forth
with our armies?
12 πŸ“šGive us help from trouble,
for useless is the help
of man.
13 πŸ“šThrough God we will do valiantly,
for he it is who will tread
down our enemies.
